This is troubling.  Currently 1 in 10 have diabetes.  If only people knew they could reverse these effects if they could simply start exercising.  Why is it that health care will cover the cost of doctors and the drugs all these people will have to take, but will not cover the costs of personal trainers?

This is very troubling.  People seem to be more aware about what is good or bad to put in their body but kids are exercising less, with schools cutting Phys Ed Programs, and the increase in Technology, keeping kids in front of the TV and Computer!  This focuses more on current Populations aging but it’s time to prevent this from happening to the kids in our Society now!

I was wondering how many meals I should actually eat in a day to lose weight and stay in shape? I've heard that eating fairly constantly (about 6 little meals, or 6ish times throughout the day) tells your body that you aren't starving, and thus it will start to shed extra stored fat. I've also heard, though, that three meals is best so that your body has a chance to burn some of it's own body fat instead of only burning food calories (which it would if one was eating constantly). Thanks!

I would recommend eating your 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and include some small snacks in between your meals.  You do need to eat more than once or twice per day for sure.  I am not saying you need to eat 6 times but 4 to 6 times per day would be ideal.  At the end of the day you should be burning more calories than you are consuming to lose weight.

Eating more frequently is a great way to regulate your blood glucose and insulin levels which will aid in maintaining or losing weight.

Make sure you are doing cardiovascular and resistance exercise in addition to eating a healthy diet!  Thanks for the question and I hope this helps.
